Yamaha Motor PH turns over initial all-new NMAX units to owners

MANILA: Yamaha Motor Philippines (YMPH) has officially delivered the 155 units of all-new NMAX to owners.

Held at Arcovia City in Pasig, the turnover ceremony was conducted weeks after agents in the Philippines started accepting reservations for the aforementioned automatic transmission two-wheeler’s much-awaited version.

Here’s what you need to know about the all-new Yamaha NMAX.

The all-new Yamaha NMAX has the following measurements:

Further, the Japanese marque’s entry-level maxi-scooter wears updated projector-style LED headlights and taillights, a tank that can carry a little over seven liters of fuel, and a two-level seat that covers the 25-liter storage.

Available in two trims namely Standard and Tech MAX, the all-new Yamaha NMAX's comes in three available hues:

To further identify the difference from each other, the all-new Yamaha NMAX Tech MAX comes with gold-colored cast wheels and seat stitching.

Other important features of the Yamaha NMAX are:

• 4.2-inch color thin film transistor screen with onboard navigation (via Garmin StreetCross) and smartphone notifications (Tech MAX trim only)
• Smart key system
• Handlebar Switch Control
• Full Digital Speedometer
• USB Type-C power socket
• Smart key system
• Stop-and-start system

Absorbing the bumps on the road are the five-millimeter lengthened stroke sub-tanks for its rear suspension system.

The all-new Yamaha NMAX comes with an improved four-stroke, Die-casting Aluminum-Silicon (DIASIL) cylinder, single overhead cam, 155 cubic-centimeter (cc) mill with variable valve actuator that can deliver:

Such figures give the latest generation a little more force than the previous version.

The mill features two ride modes (sport and touring) thanks to its YECVT (Yamaha Electric CVT) technology and a three-level downshift control.
