A great first EV for young professionals
As a budget-conscious young professional residing in Manila, I have decided to make the BYD Seagull my first car because of its excellent cost-effectiveness and suitability for everyday city driving. This EV hatchback simplifies driving in bumper-to-bumper traffic, thanks to its light steering and nimble manoeuvrability. It is also quite peppy and enjoyable to drive on the highway. In terms of design, it does not look entry-level at all, with its modern, hot hatch-like appearance flanked by all-LED lighting. Aside from that, its electric motor’s 300-km NEDC driving range is just right for my work commutes and casual weekend excursions.
