5 Things we know about the upcoming Hyundai Creta

Hyundai Philippines created a mystery environment in the auto arena by uploading a teaser video of an unnamed car. We must say that the video was quite impressive and kept the audience glued and inquisitive about the new car. But it didn’t take the auto junkies long to figure out that the teaser video was of Hyundai Creta, the popular B-segment crossover.

The said car is already running on the Indian roads and has won millions of hearts. It is loved, and that is visible through its high selling figures. Since the Philippines market is also open for crossovers and the way the demand of the said segment has taken a hike in the recent times. It seems Hyundai has made the right decision to bring the car into the country.

Here are five things we know about Creta and would like to share the same with you. However, please note that this information is taken from the car’s Indian spec that has a high probability to land in the Philippines. Note that the Philippines-specific model may have some minor tweaks here and there.

1. Creta Launch

As per some reliable sources, Hyundai Creta will be launched in the Philippines at the soon to begin Manila International Auto Show. The said motor show will commence from 30th March and run until 2nd April. Hyundai booth will attract the attention of the onlookers with Creta outshining its aura along with other offerings like Grand i10.

2. Exterior Features

Hyundai Creta Side Profile

Creta is known for its urban smart look that’s a combination of ruggedness, convenience, and freshness. Starting from front profile, Creta is decorated by 3-chrome horizontal slate design grill that seamlessly connects with the sharp pair of LED headlights. Its side profile gets sharp contour lines that help it with the aerodynamic effect. The 17-inch diamond cut alloy wheels supports it from underneath and helps it ride from all twist and turns easily. As for the rear, Creta gets wraparound taillights, stop light, and rear spoiler.

Giving the occupants maximum comfort and leisure are present features like steering mounted controls, automatic climate control air-con system, secured instrumental binnacle and much more.

The former mill is expected to churn out a maximum power of 123 PS along with a peak torque of 151 Nm. As for the lower displacement diesel engine, 90 PS of power and 220 Nm of torque is expected to be delivered. Lastly, 128 PS and 260 Nm of output are expected from 1.6-liter CRDi mill.
