Sports fest: Toyota 86 vs. Nissan GT-R

Sportscar lovers must surely be aware of the Nissan GT-R (or Godzilla to those who know) and the Toyota 86 (the twin of the Subaru BRZ) as two options locally available and very desirable.

Yet aside from thrilling performance, these sexy sports cars from Nissan and Toyota have a lot more to offer.

First, while we know that these occupy two disparate price points, we think  that it's nice to be able to put their specs side by side as we gauge their qualities.

The GT-R’s ATTESA E-TS All-Wheel Drive gives a new definition to supercar performance — providing you with excitement even on different road conditions. As for its interior, the GT-R flaunts a superb combination of high-quality materials from hand-stitching in the interior trim of the cabin to the dashboard pad formed from one, hand-picked Nappa leather hide.

The design of the cabin is significantly improved through exquisite etching on the aluminum bezels and other enhancements. The sport seats, on the other hand, offer greater support and comfort, which makes the GT-R suitable for a more purposeful and focused drive anywhere.

Meanwhile, the Toyota 86 takes pride in uncompromising safety, a sporty interior, high performance, and a restyled exterior look.

It has an ergonomically designed steering wheel, which thoughtfully incorporates audio controls, and quick-ratio steering to enhance your driving experience.
