MANILA: Ford Territory has now delivered 15,000 units in the Philippines, a milestone that attests to the small SUV's rising market appeal more than two years after its arrival in 2020.
Since its launch in August 2020, the Territory has sold a total of 15,236 units as of September 2022. Sales of the Territory have been steadily increasing over the past three years with 1,925 units sold in 2020, 6,881 units in 2021, and 6,430 units in the first nine months of 2022, or a 29% rise from the same period last year.
In recent years, the Territory has also revolutionized the small SUV segment, maintaining its sales leadership with a 52% market share in the first nine months of 2022.
“We are very happy to achieve another milestone for the Ford Territory in the Philippines – over 15,000 happy and proud owners all over the country. It is truly a representation of the trust that we receive from our customers and the great support from our dealers to enhance the ownership experience. As we see more Ford Territory SUVs being driven on the road, we can’t wait to see more Filipino customers experience the amazing features and capabilities that the Ford Territory offers,” Ford Philippines Managing Director Mike Breen stated.
In June 2021, Ford Territory reached its 5,000th sales milestone, and in November of that same year, it reached its 8,000th sales milestone. The number of Territory owners in the Philippines has increased to 10,000 by the end of the first quarter of 2022.
Ford takes great pride in the functionality and dynamic design of the Territory, both of which are said to meet the American automaker's top global standards. This is due to the Ford DNA being deeply rooted in its capabilities, quality, and design to produce an all-inclusive SUV package.
The Territory has raised the bar for small SUVs with its svelte and stylish look, outstanding performance, and driver-assistance systems. The SUV's capabilities and features, which include a panoramic moonroof, a 360-degree around view monitor, a blind spot information system, a 10-inch infotainment system, Apple Carplay with wireless connectivity, and Android Auto Capability, have won praise from the growing community of Territory owners.
Ford Philippines is offering a free three-year scheduled service plan (SSP) along with every purchase of a Territory in an effort to further promote ownership. Customers can also take advantage of a special financing offer that allows them to purchase the Territory for an all-in down payment of P149,000.
