2023 Audi A8 L now available in PH

MANILA: Audi’s flagship sedan, the 2023 Audi A8 L, has arrived in the Philippines. It now features a sharper look and innovative technologies.

The 2023 Audi A8 L features the groundbreaking Audi Space Frame (ASF) technology, which makes up 58% of the structure. As a result, the vehicle weighs around 40% less than a comparable model made of steel.

The concept of the new Audi A8 L's ASF body is built on a frame made up of aluminum parts. Other aluminum panels, such those on the roof and body's sides, serve as a reinforcement to these. Magnesium and carbon fiber-reinforced polymer are also applied to complement steel components. The ASF structure guarantees exceptional rigidity that improves handling while also drastically reducing vibration. It also reduces weight, improving efficiency.

A larger, more aggressive Singleframe grille with chrome accents distinguishes the front of the 2023 Audi A8 L. The redesigned Digital Matrix LED headlights and side air intakes surround the grille.

The streamlined roof dome, sweeping body lines that accentuate the sedan's length, concave contours at the bottom, and wide wheel arches that allude to Audi's quattro drive system give the Audi A8 L its distinctive side profile. Wide chrome clasps, a customizable taillight signature with digital OLEDs, and a seamless, segmented light strip define the rear. The diffuser insert in the bumper is subtly emphasized and redesigned with horizontal bars.

Inside, a 12.3-inch high-definition virtual cockpit display gives the driver access to vehicle and navigation information. With MMI navigation with MMI touch response, the driver and passenger can manage various infotainment features using touch screen displays, handwriting recognition, or voice commands.

The Audi A8 L's extended wheelbase results in a spacious interior with premium features, especially for occupants of the rear seats. The Rear Seat Entertainment system, which consists of two Audi tablets and the Rear Seat Remote, is one of these features. Passengers may enjoy streaming movies, browsing the web, and using other apps with these devices. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto ensure connectivity to any platform. There is also an Audi Cool Box in the rear seat to keep drinks cold.

The Audi A8 L also comes with a 360-degree 3D-view camera, panoramic sunroof, four-zone automatic climate control, an air quality package that includes ionizer and perfume, multifunction massage in all seats, and a Bang & Olufsen audio system.

The Audi A8 L is powered by a 3.0-liter, turbocharged V6 gasoline engine that produces 335hp and 500Nm of torque. It also comes with a mild-hybrid system that includes a belt alternator starter and a lithium-ion battery to reduce fuel consumption and emissions. The V6 is mated to an eight-stage tiptronic transmission.

The 2023 Audi A8 L also comes standard with Audi’s quattro all-wheel drive system and 21-inch alloy wheels.
