95 units of the Mitsubishi Strada added to NIA fleet

MANILA: Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC), together with dealer partner Citimotors Makati, has officially turned over 95 Strada units ordered by the National Irrigation Administration (NIA).

The newly acquired Mitsubishi Strada units will be used as service vehicles of NIA officers who are assigned to supervise and evaluate the status of ongoing projects and maintenance activities. Since the officers are often encountering tough terrain during field operations, a durable and reliable pickup is needed.

In a statement, NIA Administrator Gen. Ricardo Visaya said, “The acquisition of new vehicles is part of the of the modernization program of NIA. With our newly purchased trucks, we are confident that we will be able to achieve better efficiency, and improve our service to the country.”

The turnover ceremony was conducted in the presence of MMPC Field Sales Manager Lorenzo Miguel Cucio, CT Citimotors Inc. Assistant Vice President and Citimotors Makati Branch Head Rodrigo Almendral, NIA Senior Deputy Administrator Gen. Abraham Bagasin, NIA Deputy Administrator for Administrative and Finance Gen. Romeo Gan, and NIA Deputy Administrator for Engineering and Operations Engr. C’zar Sulaik.

“Mitsubishi Motors-CT Citimotors, Inc. is honored to have been awarded the fleet requirement of the National Irrigation Administration. Our partners can rest assured that our Mitsubishi Strada is a reliable pickup truck that can live up to their expectations. Also, we guarantee NIA that we will consistently provide excellent committed service for easy ownership experience,” Almendral stated.

In parallel, MMPC Sales and Marketing First Vice President Cecil Capacete said, “Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation would like to congratulate the National Irrigation Administration for their 58^th founding anniversary. It is an honor for our products to be selected as their official service vehicle for their field operations. We are confident that the Mitsubishi Strada will be able to deliver to the task required.
