Chery Auto PH to start EQ7 retail in Q4 2024

MANILA: Chery Auto Philippines (CAP) shall start the retail of the eQ7 within the fourth quarter of 2024.

United Asia Automotive Group Incorporated Group Managing Director Froilan Dytianquin said that its dealer network is expected to sell the full-electric crossover, which was displayed at the Manila International Auto Show 2024, by November.

The soon-to-be-retailed Chery eQ7 sports a minimalist styling complemented by the slim front illumination system above the projector-type headlamps and an active grille system that closes or opens depending on the running conditions.

Its all-aluminum body structure keeps the vehicle light while the vehicle’s fluid body lines help the vehicle reach a 0.31 wind drag coefficient.

Powering the vehicle is a single-speed permanent magnet synchronous electric motor that can deliver around 208 horsepower and 285 Newton-meters of peak torque.

The said mill is mated to a 67.12 kilowatt-hour lithium iron phosphate battery, which has a IPX9K waterproof grade — gives a maximum range of 512 kilometers.

Customers of the Chery eQ7 are set to enjoy a well-appointed cabin, thanks to its white leather appointments covering the seats and center console, dual-zone air conditioning system that purifies recirculating air, as well as the dual digital cluster and infotainment system that are both 12.3 inches wide

Its luxurious and futuristic cabin also has a class-leading wheelbase length that assures space for both driver and passengers. 

The arriving offering is expected to wear a price tag of around P2 million.
