Customized Ford Mustangs coming to SEMA Show

MANILA: If muscle cars turn you on, then the coming SEMA show will greet you with a series of head turners. Among some of the prominent muscle car producers across the globe, Ford Motors is one, which will go big at the upcoming SEMA show just like the previously concluded shows. This year, Ford is all set to treat its much acclaimed Mustang in different ways at the show and here we are giving you a brief on the different versions of Mustang coming at the show.

The first is a 2017 Mustang GT concept which has been modified by VMP Performance. It has been equipped with a second generation 2.3-litre TVS Supercharger which will churn out a maximum power output of 851 hp and peak torque of 953 Nm. The gray color with matte black wheels and a pin-up gal perched above the front wheels are all inspired by a fighter plane which is all set to bombard the air strip in the Las Vegas at the show.

Next in the list is the Orange drop-top concept which looks like a throwback to the 1990s. The Stitchcraft’s Pearl Candy Orange Mustang features an old school roll bar and a jet-black custom interior. The lighted pony grille and 10 spoke alloy wheels goes perfectly with the overall design and if cruising in a powerpack car with an open top is your desire, this Mustang should be your pick.

If black carbon fiber body gives you adrenaline rush then Speedkore has given Mustang GT concept a unique touch, making it a radical supercar. This car further features a 5.0-litre V8 engine with Whipple Stage2 supercharger that delivers a maximum power output of 825 hp. In order to control it in an optimal manner, it is further equipped with carbon ceramic brakes. We don’t think, anybody would miss sitting behind its wheel for a spin.

Another option in black features Candy Cherry paint accents which is coupled with stylish looks, not so subtle use of carbon trim and super tinted windows. Powering this blacked-out Mustang is a perky 2.3-litre EcoBoost engine which is further coupled with a Vortech supercharger, making Mustang a potent sport touring option.

Finished in Stealth Gray and Acid Green color, the Mustang modified by CJ Pony Parts aggrandize the aggressive nature of Mustang in an effective manner. This Mustang also features a 2.3-litre EcoBoost engine and a number of Ford Performance parts. The Borla exhaust packed with this Mustang further lift this pony up by a few notches.

An option for old school lovers is also there, as Revology Cars has given the 1966 Ford Shelby GT350 a modern flair. The original look of Shelby GT has been kept intact to an extend but, the blue strip running all over the bonnet, silhouette and sides give this muscle car a unique appeal. Some of the other upgrades of this Mustang GT include a 5.0-litre Coyote V8 engine, delivering 435 hp maximum power, LED lights, electronic gauges, infotainment and navigation systems to jazz up your ride.

These customized Mustangs will be first revealed at the SEMA show in Las Vegas and for the Philippines, Ford has not revealed any information about their launch yet.
