Five Kia models recognized in JD Power 2023 US ALG Residual Value Awards

MANILA: Kia won five accolades in the JD Power 2023 ALG Residual Value Awards. Kia achieved the most year-over-year improvement of any mass market brand in the annual evaluation, thanks to segment wins by the Kia Telluride for midsize SUVs with three-row seating, Kia Sportage for compact SUVs, Kia K5 for midsize cars, Kia Soul for micro SUVs, and Kia Rio for small cars.

“Kia is a brand on the move, with more models predicted to hold their value within their respective segments than any mass market brand. Resale value is one of the most important purchase considerations, and from rugged and capable SUVs to sporty sedans, the latest JD Power US ALG Residual Value Awards are the latest demonstration of the strength and breadth of Kia’s lineup,” Kia America Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President Steven Center stated.

The US JD Power ALG Residual Value Awards is the automotive industry standard for recognizing car models anticipated to retain the highest percentage of their manufacturer's suggested retail price after three years of ownership. The success of a carmaker in terms of long-term quality and design, as well as the general appeal of automotive brands and their models, is highlighted by this value retention, which is a crucial factor in the lease cost of a vehicle.
