Ford PH guarantees parts availability with bigger parts distribution center  

MANILA: In its bid to boost its customers’ overall ownership experience, Ford Philippines has opened a new and bigger parts distribution center.

Located within Calamba, Laguna, the facility has an area size of over 13,000 square meters — twice the size of its previous parts center.

Thanks to its bigger storage capacity, the new establishment can store up to 100,000 vehicle parts that is set to increase Ford Philippines’ capability to deliver more parts to dealerships around the country.

The Blue Oval marque’s local arm guaranteed that with the new parts distribution center, Ford vehicle owners may expect a shorter lead time for the parts needed for their units.

The space also features eight inbound and outbound docks for seamless receiving and dispatch of vehicle parts.

Per Ford Philippines, it can meet same-day delivery dealerships in Metro Manila and nearby areas, as well as daily delivery to its dealerships in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.  

“Our commitment to delivering a next-generation Ford ownership experience remains a priority. With our new Ford parts facility now fully operational, both our dealers and customers will have better and faster access to parts,” Ford Philippines Managing Director Michael Allen Breen was quoted as saying.

“We look forward to giving our customers more confidence and peace of mind in owning a Ford on the back of improved parts availability,” he added.

The operation of the new facility — outfitted with modern building and racking infrastructure — is managed by DB Schenker, a global leader in logistics solutions and supply chain management.
