Cornering the biggest share is the Ford Ranger, as its sales grew by 16 percent to 13,234 units. The nameplate also served as the best-selling 4x4 pick-up truck in the country after cornering 40-percent market share — mainly driven by the Ranger Raptor that was launched during the first half of 2023.

Meanwhile, sales of the Ford Territory reached 9,119 units sold last year — helping the model maintain its market leadership for the fourth straight year by holding 44 percent of the market.

    Ford Territory

To recall, the crossover’s next-generation version immediately broke the 5,000-unit sales milestone five months after its launch at the Manila International Auto Show 2023. The said achievement brought the Ford Territory’s overall sales to more than 25,000 units since its inception in August 2020.

Meanwhile, the Ford Everest’s sales output grew by 142 percent to 8,569 vehicles — sustaining its popularity in the local midsize sport utility vehicle segment.

Relatedly, it was last also in 2023 when Ford Philippines launched service convenience initiatives under the Ford Family Guarantee program — fortifying its commitment to an enhanced ownership experience.

Offered starting the early part of the previous year were the Express Service as well as the Pickup and Delivery. The former is a 90-minute program aimed to service vehicles in a more efficient manner than regular maintenance while the latter allows participating Ford dealers to pick up the vehicles from customers, perform service on the vehicles, and bring the vehicles to the customers’ preferred location.

Before the year ended, Ford added to its list of initiatives the Online Service Booking which allows customers to conveniently book service appointments anytime and anywhere at their preferred Ford dealership, and Service Price Calculator, a tool that allows customers to know in advance the estimated periodic maintenance schedule service pricing based on the model and selected Ford dealer prior to the actual service appointment.

Further, Ford also offers a five-year warranty for the Ranger, Everest and Territory.

“We are immensely proud of this huge accomplishment that solidified our position in the industry amid a very dynamic, challenging and competitive environment,” Ford Philippines Managing Director Michael Allen Breen said.

“We thank our customers, dealers, employees, communities and partners for their continued trust, support, and collaboration. We remain committed to bringing our segment-leading vehicles, innovative services, and impactful customer experiences to the Filipino motoring public,” he added.

To kick off 2024, Ford Philippines launched retail promotions made up of low monthly fees and cash discounts.

Available until January 31, customers can avail the attractive deals which include an P18,000 monthly fee on the Ranger Wildtrak 4x4 or P13,000 monthly amortization for the Territory Titanium.

Additionally, the Ford Everest Titanium+ 4x2 and Sport are currently offered with a P20,000-markdown for customers who will reserve on Ford’s online reservation portal. Customers must present their online reservation reference number to Ford dealers to avail of the cash discount.

Price slash of up to P80,000 are also available to customers getting a Ranger, while those getting a Territory Titanium X can get P30,000-discount.
