Gasoline prices to spike up by almost P3/L tomorrow
Forthcoming retail price increase is the biggest for 2024
MANILA: Fuel companies in the Philippines will conduct a nearly P3-per-liter hike on the retail price of gasoline this week.

Oil companies will raise the price of gasoline by P2.80 per liter, diesel by P1.30 per liter, and kerosene by P0.45 per liter.When will the price adjustments take effect?
The said adjustments shall become effective as early as 12:01 a.m. of January 30, 2024.Based on their respective advisories, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Jetti Petroleum, Petron, Seaoil, and Unioil, shall implement an increase of P2.80 per liter on gasoline products. On the other hand, local players shall also jack up the price of diesel by P1.30 per liter.
Meanwhile, Caltex, Petron, and Seaoil shall also have an increase of P0.45 per liter on the price of kerosene.
Other local oil players are expected to have the same price adjustment, which will commence as early as 12:01 a.m. tomorrow (January 30).
Last week, companies already added 1.30 per liter on the retail price of gasoline products, and P0.95 per liter on diesel.
