HMR Auto Auction celebrates third anniversary with new facility

MANILA: HMR recently celebrated the third anniversary of its Auto Auction by opening a new auto auction facility in Bicutan, Parañaque. HMR was the first to establish a fully operational auto auction facility back in 2016. Since their first foray into the auto auction business three years ago, they have already sold over 4,000 vehicles through online and live public auctions.

The new auction facility is currently the country’s largest. It can hold up to 450 vehicles and accommodate approximately 300 bidders. According to HMR, they wanted to provide a comfortable experience for bidders, building a fully air-conditioned registration and bidding area. The new Bicutan facility also offers insurance, detailing and repair services. According to HMR, it aimed to make the facility a one-stop-shop for newly auctioned cars.

To commemorate the milestone, it also held what is currently the biggest auto auction event in the country yet. 250 vehicles were available for live public bidding, including a wide range of premium used vehicles. The grand opening featured motorcycles, compacts, sedans, MPVs,

pickup trucks, SUV’s, and light commercial trucks. Various auto brands were also available, such as Mitsubishi, Ford, Toyota, Hyundai, Kia, Mazda, Nissan, Chevrolet, Foton, Honda, Peugeot, and Suzuki. Those who attended the event also had the opportunity to participate in games, promos, and raffle draws.

During the inauguration, HMR also revealed that it will now be offering affordable financing schemes for its customers, making it easier for auto auction buyers to take home the car of their dreams. Payments can now go as low as P4,000 with a minimum 30% down payment. This is in partnership with Unionbank.

CEO of HMR Auctions, Sam Powell expressed his gratitude during the inauguration ceremony by thanking their buyers who continue to support and attend their monthly auctions. He also assured that they will continue to make the process easier, safer, and more affordable for their customers.

The new auction facility is located at the ACSIE Compound on KM 16 West Service Road, Parañaque City. HMR says that it will be holding its next auto auction in the new facility on January 18. Auctioneers can expect over 100 cars available for bidding with various premium brands to select from.
