Honda Philippines is Accepting Reservations for All-New Civic Modulo Variants

MANILA: Yes, you read it right. Honda Philippines recently announced that it is now open for bookings concerning to 2016 Civic Modulo variants. But, before that we need to brush you up with the specifications of the same, as they haven't been discussed till date. Now, Honda's current lineup consists of many cars like Brio, Brio Amaze and Mobilio that are accompanied by Modulo variants and now Civic has joined the group too. The modulo variants are specifically known for their sporty exterior appeal and engine retunning and the said Civic Modulo rightfully continues the same legacy.

2016 Honda Civic that was recently launched in the month of April and has gained a good booking figure for itself. Honda Philippines is also expecting the same great sales performance from Modulo variants as well.

Below you'll find all the required 2016 Civic Modulo spec information -

1. Number of times implanted with Modulo DNA: Honda under the Civic nameplate has introduced as many as three variants. The top of the class variant is called Civic 1.8 E CVT Modulo, that is followed by RS Turbo Modulo and RS Turbo Modulo Sport.

2. Exterior design modifications: As mentioned earlier Modulo tag brings along with itself aggressive and sporty look and feel. Here in Civic, Modulo variants are accompanied with features like front under spoiler, rear under spoiler, side under spoiler, modulo badging and exhaust pipe finisher. 4. Engine specs of Modulo variants: As it is very much clear from the names itself, the All-new Civic 1.8 E CVT Modulo trim houses a 1.8L i-VTEC Earth Dreams Technology engine. The said mill is coupled to CVT gearbox and generates 141 PS of power at 6,500 rpm and 174 Nm of torque at 4,300 rpm. As for the RS Turbo Modulo and RS Turbo Modulo Sport variants they are powered by a 1.5L i-VTEC Turbo Earth Dreams Technology mill. Being a turbocharged engine both its power and torque output exceeds to that of the 1.8L engine. Paired to a CVT gearbox, it produces 173 PS at 5,500 rpm and 220 Nm at 1,700 -5,500 rpm of power and torque respectively.

5. Fuel Economy: As the under hood specification remains unchanged from that of the standard Civic, we are expecting the same mileage delivery from the Modulo variants as well. The all-new Civic RS Turbo variant with 1.5 L mill at the recent DOE fuel eco run recorded an impressive fuel economy of 27.56 km/L.

6. 2016 Civic Modulo Variant Price: Honda Philippines has also announced the price list of Civic Modulo variants. Most expensive being the RS Turbo Modulo Sport trim at PhP 1,510,000. Followed by RS Turbo Modulo and 1.8 E CVT Modulo that are offered at PhP 1,445,000 and PhP 1,143,000 respectively.

7. Expected Delivery: Unlike standard Honda Civic whose first lot has arrived in the Philippines, there is no such information available about Civic Modulo variant. But, we are expecting the same to be delivered by the end of August.

8. Quality & Warranty: According to Honda, all the Modulo accessories whether on the exterior or interior front have undergone rigorous testing. Also, all Modulo parts come with a 3-year warranty.
