L300 and Strada are Mitsubishi’s Jan. top-sellers

MANILA: Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) revealed in its latest sales report that the brand’s utilitarian vehicles, the Mitsubishi L300 and Mitsubishi Strada, led the company's January sales performance.

The Mitsubishi L300, which is the top-selling utility van in the Philippines, moved 764 units last month. This was 59% higher compared to its December 2020 sales. The L300’s price is currently marked down at P698,000 through the special "Retro" promo. This promo is seen as one of the factors that significantly increased the model’s sales. Mitsubishi has extended the Retro promo until February 28.

Meanwhile, the Mitsubishi Strada ended January with a total of 428 units sold, 101 units greater than the previous month.

In a statement, MMPC President and CEO Mutsuhiro Oshikiri said, “Every month displays a new challenge for us but we are grateful to consistently receive overwhelming support from the market and admirable passion from our dealer partners. We will continue to strive to give the market enticing promos to assist them in owning their desired Mitsubishi vehicle.”
