Lynk & Co 08 EM-P now available for orders, starts at P2.498-M

MANILA: Lynk & Co Philippines, under the management of the United Asia Automotive Group Incorporated (UAAGI), has revealed the pricing details for the 08 EM-P, its latest plug-in hybrid vehicle (PHEV), which was previewed at the 2025 Manila International Auto Show. 

As disclosed by the brand’s local arm, the Lynk & Co 08 EM-P starts at P2.498 million. Furthermore, the company has already opened the order books for the said vehicle, and the bulk of its stock is expected to arrive in the country by September 2025. 

Lynk & Co 08 EM-P: what we know

While UAAGI has already disclosed its starting price, the Lynk & Co 08 EM-P’s full specifications and feature list for the Philippine market are yet to be published officially. 

But based on the tidbits provided by Lynk & Co Philippines, the five-seater model is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine paired with two electric motors and a 39.6-kilowatt-hour battery. 

To note, Lynk & Co Philippines has yet to share the output figures of the Philippine-spec 08 EM-P. In other markets, however, the said model can produce up to 585 horsepower and 905 Newton-meters of torque.

As confirmed by the brand’s local distributor, the aforementioned model provides an electric vehicle (EV) mode with a range of 205 kilometers (km), as estimated by the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP). In total, the all-new PHEV nameplate can cover up to 1,400 km before needing a top-up. 

Other notable elements of the Lynk & Co 08 EM-P include a sunroof, as well as the brand’s signature Dawn Light daytime running lamps, together with adaptive matrix LED headlamps. The model also rides on a set of 21-inch alloy wheels that come with an aerodynamic design. 

Inside the Lynk & Co 08 EM-P is a well-appointed cabin equipped with perforated leather seats and plenty of soft-touch surfaces. The front seats, in particular, come with the following capabilities:

• Massage function
• Power adjustability
• Heating and ventilation

The rear seats, meanwhile, have a split-fold function, a folding center armrest, rear air-conditioning vents, and several USB charging ports. 

For on-board entertainment, the Lynk & Co PHEV crossover provides a 15.4-inch ultra high-definition (HD) touchscreen infotainment system linked to a 23-piece Harman Kardon sound system. Topping up devices in the front cabin is also done easily thanks to a wireless smartphone charging pad. 

The driver, on the other hand, has access to a leather-wrapped flat-bottom steering wheel, a digital gauge cluster,  and an electronic parking brake - among others. 

Safety-wise, Lynk & Co shared that the 08 EM-P comes with a Level 2 suite of advanced driver assist systems combined with a 540-degree view camera.
