MG Cyberster now in ASEAN region

MANILA: The MG Cyberster has already made its way in the region as the brand’s distributor in Thailand has unveiled the electrified offering to its market.

SAIC Motor showcased the electrified two-seater convertible the 40th Thailand International Motor Expo 2023. The vehicle is on display at Challenger 1, Impact Muang Thong Thani up to December 11.

 

The MG Cyberster wowed the crowd at the event with its very athletic overall design, automatic Scissor Doors, and wine-red interior made up of premium materials.

Presented in left-hand-drive format, the displayed model is powered by dual motors that can deliver as much as 544 horsepower and peak torque of 725 Newton-meters. The said mill allows the car to jump to 100 kilometers per hour from standstill in just 3.2 seconds.

According to MG Sales (Thailand), the vehicle is fitted with independent double-wishbone front suspension and multi-link rear suspension as well as a 77-kilowatt-hour battery. To note, the nameplate’s concept version is expected to have a range of up to 800 kilometers.

The MG Cyberster’s arrival in the Land of Smiles is highly significant as Zigwheels Philippines received a tip that the much-awaited model will be hitting local roads by next year.

A very reliable source shared the information following the display conducted at the brand’s headquarters in United Kingdom last September.

Based on the information shared, the pricing of the Cyberster in the Philippines could be within sub P4 million.
