MIAS 2025: BYD Cars PH reveals eMAX 7 pricing

MANILA: BYD Cars Philippines officially announced the pricing of the eMAX 7 at the ongoing Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) 2025.

During its public debut, BYD Cars Philippines Managing Director Bob Palanca shared the pricing of the model’s Standard and Superior Captain trims.

Here’s a table detailing the all-new electric-powered MPV’s suggested retail prices:

BYD eMAX 7 Standard	P1.748 million
BYD eMAX 7 Superior Captain	P1.498 million

For its seating arrangement, the Standard can fit up to seven, while the Superior Captain has ample room for up to six. 

The model also comes with the following key features:

• LED exterior lighting
• Sunroof
• Power tailgate
• Power-adjustable front seats
• 12.8-inch rotating touchscreen
• Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
• Advanced driver-assist systems
• NFC card reader
• 360-degree view camera
• Vehicle-to-load capability

Propelling the BYD eMAX 7 is an electronic motor sending power to its front wheels. In the Standard, the motor can produce up to 160 horsepower (hp), while the Superior Captain can churn out 201 hp. Both trims have a peak torque output of 310 Newton-meters. 

Concerning range, the eMAX 7 can cover up to 420 kilometers (km), while the Superior Captain can cruise for 530 km on a single full charge.

To note, the BYD eMAX 7 will be available for test drives at MIAS. The said event is scheduled to run from April 10-13 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.

Those shopping for a car at MIAS may enjoy a P50,000-discount for the BYD eMAX 7, in partnership with  Bank of Philippine Islands. Additionally, the said collaboration provides a downpayment option as low as P48,000 for the Standard trim, and P68,000 for the Superior Captain.
