Suzuki Auto Oct. 2023 YTD sales reaches 2.609-M mark

MANILA: Suzuki’s automobile division reported that it has sold a total of 2,609,181 cars globally from January-October-2023.

According to the Japanese carmaker, it handed over 548,423 cars to its customers domestically while it made a total of 2,060,758 deliveries to its customers overseas.

Year-on-year, Suzuki’s sales in Japan grew by 110.9 percent while its overseas sales jumped by 104 percent. Overall, the company’s sales in the first 10 months of the year reflected a 105.4-percent increase compared to the same time period in 2022.

For the month of October alone, Suzuki managed to sell 283,736 globally.

Of the said number, 54,485 units were sold in Japan while 229,251 were sold overseas.

For its October sales report, the said figures meant that Suzuki’s Japan sales for the month of October grew by 100.5 percent while its overseas sales increased by 114.2 percent.

Suzuki did not disclose which of its models raked in the highest number of sales. In the Philippines, Suzuki’s lineup includes the Celerio, S-Presso, Swift, Dzire, Ertiga Hybrid, XL7, APV, Jimny, and the Carry mini commercial vehicle.
