TCCCI brings home Five Star Distributor award from MG

MANILA: The Covenant Car Company, Inc. (TCCCI), exclusive distributor of MG vehicles in the country, won the Five Star Distributor award at the 2020 MG Overseas Dealers and Distributors Conference held last July 27. Different MG distributors from more than 80 countries attended the event, held online.

The award is considered to be the highest recognition among all global MG distributors. The Five Star Distributor award also signifies a major breakthrough for the company. This is because TCCCI has been recognized as the first overseas MG distributor to attain the Five Star status during its first full year of operations.

TCCCI was from among more than 50 overseas MG distributors according to extensive standards like dealership network, aftersales services, marketing, and sales performance.

TCCCI also joins the other prestigious Five Star Distributor awardees in 2020, which include Mansour MG Automotive, Brisbane MG, South Pacific Motor Chile SPA, and Taajeer Group MG Saudi Arabia.

Meanwhile, the MG Iloilo dealership also bagged the Four Star award in the dealerships category.

SAIC Motor International (SMIL), subsidiary of SAIC Motor, has been handling the presentation of these annual awards since 2015. SAIC Motor has managed the MG brand since 2007.

TCCCI President and CEO Atty. Alberto Arcilla said that the company is fortunate and honored to represent the MG brand in the country.

He added that the Five Star Distributor award will help boost the company's drive to further enhance the MG brand as it continuously evolves to better equip the Filipino motoring public through advanced after-sales services and sustainable mobility.

In his statement, Atty. Arcilla also explained that the award recognizes the combined effort of all those who have committed themselves to the establishment and advancement of MG in the country, namely, its esteemed board, media colleagues, bank partners, dealer partners, stewards, shareholders, and valued MG customers.

To date, MG is available in 86 countries worldwide, including the Philippines. Last year, more than 298,000 MG vehicles were sold globally.
