Upgraded Toyota Rush debuts today at TMP dealerships
MANILA: Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has officially announced the arrival of the updated Toyota Rush, its well-known entry-level SUV.
The updated Rush lineup, which will be retailing in the 70 dealerships of Toyota beginning today, November 26, features the Rush E grade with enhanced seating capacity, as three rows of seats can now be seen on the vehicle.
Given this upgrade, all Rush variants will now be seven-seater SUVs.
The reverse camera is one of the most anticipated features of the G grade and it can also be seen in the E grade variants.
TMP First Vice President for Vehicle Sales Operations Sherwin Chualim said, “We at Toyota continuously listen to the requests of our customers to make improvements in our cars. The Rush is a favorite family vehicle, and with the Filipino’s close-knit and often extended family, we added the third row to bring the joy of moving together to more members."
He added, “As our thrust of advancing mobility for all becomes more relevant especially at this time when safe transportation with social distancing is essential, we aim to provide more options to Filipino customers, and give them the best value.”

Given these new inclusions to the Rush E grade, the model maintains its position as an efficient, expansive, trendy, modern, yet competitively priced family vehicle, which is suitable for those who want to take advantage of the SUV experience without having to worry about their finances.
The upgraded Rush 1.5 E is priced at P1.023 million for the automatic transmission (A/T), while its manual transmission (M/T) variant can be availed for P983,000. The top-of-the-line Rush 1.5 G A/T, on the other hand, retails for P1.1 million .
Features such as the back sonar, seven-inch infotainment system, high 220 mm ground clearance, as well as the safety features such as the vehicle stability control (VHS), anti-lock brake system (ABS), and six SRS airbags, among others, have also been retained in all Toyota Rush variants.

Every unit features the Toyota Sure Advantage offering exceptional value, ownership fulfillment, dependability, durability, quality, as well as significant innovations.
The Toyota Rush, launched in the Philippines in 2018, rapidly secured its position as one of the top-selling models in the portfolio of TMP.
Last year, TMP was able to sell 15,000 units, which made the Toyota Rush the best-selling SUV in 2019.
