VinFast turns Caloocan dealership into EV mobility hub
One-stop shops that provide services and EV-related educational experiences
MANILA: VinFast Philippines is transforming its dealerships into electric vehicle (EV)-focused mobility hubs. Doing so, the brand says, will help enlighten those who are considering buying a model from the Vietnamese manufacturer's lineup of all-electric rides.
KEY TAKEAWAYS
Which VinFast dealership is the 30th in the Philippines?
The 30th VinFast dealership is the recently opened facility in Caloocan City. What is VinFast turning its dealerships into?
VinFast is turning its dealerships into mobility hubs that combine sales, financing, car rentals, and EV-related educational services.Apart from being educational, VinFast’s local arm also wants its dealerships to be one-stop shops that provide financing, sales, and even rental options. This goes hand-in-hand with the brand’s new initiatives, which include but are not limited to:
- Green Vehicle Rental program
- “Trade Gas for Electric” program
- Extended free charging program
- Battery subscription program
- “PiliPinas” vehicle design contest
The aforementioned is already enacted at VinFast Caloocan, where vehicles such as the VF 3, VF 5, VF 6, and VF 9 are lined up for visitor viewing. The aforementioned, the brand says, helps would-be buyers approximate which one is suited to their lifestyles.

Moreover, the said dealership is host to several service bays to address the needs of visiting VinFast owners, EV units that were brought in for service, and to show new owners how to charge their respective rides.
Notably, the 1,506-square-meter facility has a dedicated consultation corner where staff can provide would-be buyers with printed cost breakdowns of EV ownership.
As previously reported, VinFast’s charging partner V-Green, has extended its free charging program until March 2029. This is significantly more economical than operating a gasoline vehicle, which VinFast says can cost up to P36,000 per month if driven an average of 300 kilometers a day.
But thanks to VinFast’s free charging program, operating a model such as the VF 5 will be effectively reduced, and can provide “monthly savings that can reach tens of thousands of pesos.”
VinFast PH: latest updates
Earlier this month, VinFast Philippines and Southeast Asia Antonio Zara shared that the brand is on track to become the biggest battery electric vehicle (BEV) brand in the Philippines in terms of sales by the end of 2026.
The aforementioned was shared by the top VinFast executive at the VinFast x Maybank From Fuel to Future electric vehicle symposium.
As mentioned above, one of VinFast’s latest initiatives is the Green Vehicle Rental program. This provides an alternative to the traditional car purchase, which is touted to provide an easier way for would-be adopters to switch to all-electric cars. Specifically, this is done via fixed daily rates for as low as P1000 for the Herio Green and Limo Green models.
