Month was filled with new model releases, variant additions
MANILA: The month started strong with plenty of local launches not only in the four- and two-wheel segments but also in the three-wheeler category.

Four wheels
Suzuki Ertiga Hybrid
Photo from Suzuki PhilippinesCalled the Suzuki Ertiga Hybrid GLX AT Sport grade, the said triim level adds a dash of athleticism to the multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) through appointments such as a front under spoiler, side under spoiler, rear under spoiler, rear upper spoiler, and a Suzuki Sport emblem.
No changes to its powertrain, so it is the same mild-hybrid vehicle with a 1.5-liter, four-cylinder gasoline engine paired with a proprietary 12-volt “hybrid” system and a four-speed automatic transmission.
It sets car buyers P1.199 million.
Ford Ranger, Everest
Similarly, Ford Philippines updated the Ranger and Everest lineups with the addition of new variants.
New to the Ford Ranger series is the Wildtrak X, which packs a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 engine that makes 246 horsepower (hp) and 600 Newton-meters (Nm) of torque. Add-ons include a “Ranger” hood lettering, black composite off-road-rated side steps, a set of 17-inch alloy wheels, and a Bang & Olufsen 10-piece speaker set.
On the other hand, the Ford Everest family gets a Platinum variant. Power comes from the same 3.0-liter V6 single-turbo diesel engine—as the aforementioned pickup truck—and is packaged with 21-inch alloy wheels, LED lighting, and a panoramic moonroof.
The Ford Ranger Wildtrak X costs P2.609 million, whille the Ford Everest Platinum 4x4 stickers for P2.849 million.
Mini 3-door
Mini Philippines brought in a limited-edition model, dubbed the Mini 3-door 1965 Victory Edition.
Photo from Mini PhilippinesIt is based on the Mini John Cooper Works (JCW) 3-door, which won the 1965 Monte Carlo Rally, so it comes with motorsport-inspired appointments like a Chili Red exterior paintwork, a white stripe running from the bonnet to the roof and rear, a distinctive white “52” graphic on both sides, a Glazed White roof, panoramic roof, and a “1965” marking on the C-pillar—among others.
This Mini 3-door 1965 Victory Edition was already spoken for by its future owner ahead of its local debut.
Jetour T2
Jetour Auto Philippines has released the T2 Lightning i-DM 4x4.
The newest variant of the sport utility vehicle (SUV) packs a hybrid powertrain that can generate 600 horses and 915 Nm of pulling power with an estimated range of 1,200 kilometers (km).
Priced at P2.688 million, the newest trim level of the Jetour T2 family debuted at the United Asia Automotive Group Incorporated On The Move (UOTM) mall tour, where it wore a roof rack that matches that ladder and the blacked-out wheels that sport a familiar design.
Kia EV3
Kia Philippines has launched the EV3.
Photo by Cesar Guiderone MiguelPropulsion is provided by a fully electric powertrain comprised of a single permanent-magnet synchronous motor paired with a 58.3-kilowatt-hour (kWh) lithium-ion battery, which produces up to 201 hp and 283 Nm of torque.
The compact crossover has a range of 511 km based on the New European Driving Cycle (NEDC) and can be recharged using both an alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC) charger.
It is priced at P1.898 million.
Jetour GAIA G700
Jetour Auto Philippines introduced the GAIA G700 Topfire Edition not too long ago.
The newest SUV variant gets a larger body as well as additional features such as new metal front and rear bumpers, a functional hood scoop and exhaust vents, and an updated mesh grille.
It also comes with flared fenders, an automatic alloy sidestep, and a one-piece roof rack that can carry up to 300 kilograms of static load.
The Jetour GAIA G700 Topfire Edition rides on forged rims and gets 25-millimeter Piston Rod K-Man nitrogen shocks with eight-stage compression damping.
It will set back buyers some P5.188 million.
Xpeng X9, L03
Xpeng Philippines has brought in the X9 and L03 to the local auto market.

Meanwhile, the Xpeng L03 can be had in either a battery-electric (EV) or range-extended (REEV) variant, with the former using a 71.1-kWh battery, coming with a 480 to 520 km range. The latter gets a 37.2-kWh battery, providing up to 215 km of pure electric range. When fully utilizing it with a full tank of fuel, the vehicle can travel as much as 1,017 km.
For the Xpeng X9, the Long Range model has a price of P3.858 million, while the one with Second Row Premium Seat Package holds a P4.058 million tag.
The Xpeng L03 EV Long Range Ultra variant costs P2.058 million while the standard Long Range stickers for P1.698 million. Its REEV model costs P1.598 million while the REEV Standard Range is at P1.548 million.
Two wheels
Suzuki GN160
Suzuki Philippines Incorporated has launched the GN160 retro motorbike.
Photo by Cesar Guiderone MiguelIt is powered by a four-stroke, two-valve, single overhead cam with a 162-cubic-centimeter (cc) displacement. It makes 14 hp and 1.5 Nm of pulling power, with power sent to the rear wheel via a five-speed manual transmission.
Customers can get it for P125,000.
Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350, Guerilla 450 Apex
Royal Enfield has rolled out the Goan Classic 350 and Guerrilla 450 Apex in the Philippines.
The former makes 20.4 horses and 27 Nm with its 349 cc engine matched to a five-speed gearbox. On the other hand, the latter does 40 hp and 40 Nm thanks to its 452 cc engine with a balanced steel twin-spar frame and mated to a six-speed transmission.
The Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 starts at P249,000, while the Guerrilla 450 Apex has a base price of P289,000.
Three wheels
Bajaj Wego
Bajaj Philippines released the released its first electric three-wheeler in the form of the Wego.
Photo by Juan Paulo PapaPropulsion comes from a 4.5-kilowatt electric motor and a 9.2 kWh battery. When it comes to range, the Bajaj Wego does about 212 km on a single charge and the battery is able to reach full charge status in four and a half hours.
It costs P329,888.
