Access Plus reveals new livery for Ducati Panigale V4 race bikes

MANILA: As it continues its campaign for the 2026 Philippine Superbike Championship (PSBK), Access Plus Racing has unveiled a new race livery for its seventh-generation Ducati Panigale V4 race bikes. 

Visually, the new colorway for the team’s Ducati speedsters comes in a combination of white, black, and red - reflecting their close association with the Bologna-headquartered Italian motorcycle marque. 

Additionally, Timothy and Troy Alberto, the sibling riders of Access Plus Racing, will enter the third round of 2026 PSBK with new Macna suits that reflect the new colors of their Ducati rides. 

According to Access Plus Racing, TJ has worn Macna suits since 2018. The new ones, however, are custom-made and individually tailored to perfectly fit TJ and Troy. Macna suits are made out of lightweight kangaroo leather, offering better flexibility and abrasion resistance. 

Furthermore, Access Plus Racing shared that the team has continued its technical partnership with Shell Advance. The said fuel product has been with the team since 2023 and is trusted and recommended for the Panigale V4 by Ducati itself. 

Access Plus Racing’s latest partner is Safety Jogger, which now supplies the Access Plus Team’s support staff with safety shoes, protective eyewear, and gloves. 

“We’re heading into the halfway point of the 2026 PSBK season in the best position possible, and we’re incredibly grateful to all of our team partners who have supported us through every victory along the way,” Access Plus Racing Team Principal Toti Alberto said. 

Currently, Access Plus Racing is the leading team in terms of points at the 2026 PSBK. Within the Pro Class Standings, TJ Alberto is currently the top rider with 125 points, followed by his brother, Troy Alberto, in second with 100 points.

Ducati Panigale V4

In the Philippine market, the Ducati Panigale V4 retails with a price ranging from P2.16 million-P4.975 million. The top-spec version is the Panigale V4 R, or the “Race” variant. 

Propelling the Ducati Panigale V4 R is a 998-cubic-centimeter gasoline Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine. This goes together with a dry clutch system, forged pistons, titanium connecting rods, a variable intake system, and an Akrapovič-developed racing exhaust. 

At maximum, the Ducati Panigale V4 R can produce up to 218 horsepower and 114.5 Newton-meters of torque. 

For its suspension system, the said model uses an Öhlins front fork with hydraulic preload adjusters. Its rear end, meanwhile, is an Öhlins TTX36 with mechanical preload. Stopping power is provided by front and rear discs with Brembo Hypure calipers. 

Other notable features of the Ducati Panigale V4 R include electronic brake control systems with race and road modes, four power modes, the Ducati Data Logger (DDL), a quick shifter, and a 6.9-inch TFT display - among others.
