The electric two-wheeler, which will come out in June, is the Honda WN7.
  • What are the two other bikes released by the Japanese brand?

The two other motorcycles are the Honda CB650R and NX500 E-Clutch.

    Other stories:

“As Makina Moto Expo marked its 10th anniversary, the three-day event once again brought together riders, motorcycle enthusiasts, and industry leaders from across Asia, celebrating the ever-evolving motorcycle culture through innovation, design, and performance,” the company wrote in a press release.

“Honda heightened the excitement at this year’s expo with the official launch of three new models, reinforcing its commitment to delivering innovative and rider-focused mobility solutions,” it added.

Here are the three new models:

    Honda WN7

The Honda WN7 is a full-sized electric motorcycle designed for everyday urban mobility.

Power comes from an electric motor with a 9.3-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery. The setup generates 67 horsepower (hp) and 100 Newton-meters (Nm) of torque, for an efficient, sustainable, and responsive city bike.

It is equipped with different riding modes, Selectable Speed Limit Assist, Selectable Deceleration Power levels, and low-speed forward and reverse assist functions for navigating tight spaces.

Acceleration happens from a standstill to 100 kilometers per hour (kph) in about 3.9 seconds with a top speed of 129 kph. When it comes to range, a single full charge will let the Honda WN7 run up to 144.1 kilometers.

Since we are on the topic of charging, the electric motorbike can be charged in as little as 30 minutes using a fast charger. Normal charging time is two and a half hours.

Other notable features include the Honda Smart Key System for ignition and the Honda RoadSync connectivity via Bluetooth for navigation, music, messages, and calls.

Speaking of which, the main display for the Honda WN7 is a five-inch thin-film transistor instrument cluster.

In addition, it is equipped with compact twin projector headlights with daytime running lights.

    Honda CB650R

For those who prefer the raw power of combustion engine motorcycles and favor a neo sports cafe racer look, the Honda CB650R is a good pick.

In betwixt the rider’s thighs is a 649 cubic-centimeter engine with a six-speed transmission. Notably, it gets the Honda E-Clutch system, which allows the rider to start, stop, and change gears without using the clutch lever, along with a quick shifter.

It also features Honda RoadSync connectivity for calls, messaging, navigation, and music via smartphone, paired with a five-inch full-color thin-film transistor display with optical bonding for improved readability and reduced glare.
