The typical benevolent Honda
The Honda Beat is a typical Honda product when it comes to an average Joe’s mind. It feels solidly built for a scooter of its price and size. The fit and finish as well as build quality is quite impressive, something which is hard to find and examine in an entry level scooter. Also, the aggressive bodywork as well as slim profile give the Honda Beat an edgy and modern stance, which manages to fancy young riders like me. However, I do feel that the scooter did feature some premium kit – even the part digital instrument console feels dated and not up to the mark. However, I got the Honda Beat just for its no-nonsense approach towards the mechanical aspects like performance, handling and ride quality. The performance is decent, just as how I wanted it to be – neither too intimidating, nor too dull. Thanks to the slim profile as well as large wheels, riding the Honda Beat isn’t a daunting task in the rising urban traffic nowadays. Genuinely, I feel that Honda should be applauded to make the scooter’s engine fuel injected, which is the reason why I am getting refined performance as well as enhanced fuel economy.
