    Designed to “challenge the standards,” the Nissan Almera brings confidence to reach new heights in style like never before.

    The all-new Almera comes in four different variants: the Almera 1.0L EL Turbo MT, Almera 1.0L VE Turbo MT, Almera 1.0L VE Turbo CVT, and Almera 1.0L VL Turbo N-Sport CVT.

    The Almera incorporates Nissan’s Emotional Geometry design language, resulting in lower, wider, and longer exterior dimensions while maintaining the sedan’s spacious interior space. The stunning details on the bumper, grille, and door handle add to the stylishness of the sedan’s exterior. The Almera is also distinguished by the boomerang-shaped headlights and tail lights. It also features an eye-catching aerodynamic design and new 16-inch alloy wheels.

    On the inside, the Almera features an upgraded dashboard, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a center panel that integrates the audio, navigation, and air-conditioning systems.

    The sedan can seat up to five people with its large cabin and generous headroom and legroom.     Under the Almera’s hood is a revolutionary 1.0-liter turbocharged HRA0 engine that churns out a maximum power output of 100ps at 5,000rpm, a maximum torque of 160Nm from 2,400 to 4,000rpm, and fuel consumption of 23.3kpl. The engine is mated to an Xtronic continuously variable transmission (CVT). The all-new Almera’s engine is a game changer in its class, with its nimble handling, remarkable fuel efficiency, and plenty of power. It also has smoother pull-away and greater in-gear acceleration, which improve response. It lets the driver drive with full power on city streets, highways, and uphill roads by maximizing power and responsiveness.

    With its strong chassis, precise steering, and powerful turbocharged engine, Almera’s handling makes every ride remarkable.

    The Almera has been notable not only for its design, but also for its innovative technologies. Every driver will surely enjoy a convenient drive with its visually appealing drive computer, which displays the average and current kpl, distance to an empty fuel tank, and outdoor temperature. All variants also feature keyless entry system and engine push start-stop system.

    The Almera is also equipped with the Nissan eight-inch advanced touchscreen display audio that can be connected to a smartphone through Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, or USB. It also comes with six speakers and an in-glass type antenna. The cabin also has three available USB ports where occupants can conveniently charge their mobile devices while on the road.

    To further boost the driver’s confidence on the road, the Almera is equipped with Nissan Intelligent Mobility, a suite of cutting-edge features that help make maneuvering safer and more convenient. This includes the intelligent around view monitor (AVM) which uses four cameras to provide the driver with a virtual 360-degree view of their surroundings, allowing them to park even in the tightest spots. When an object is detected moving nearby, it also sends out visual and audible alerts.

    Meanwhile, the intelligent emergency braking (IEB) alarms sound before automatic braking gets activated to reduce speed in the event of a potential accident. The Almera also comes with rear cross traffic alert (RCTA) which detects impending cars from both sides when parking and provides visible and audible warnings to the driver.

    It is also installed with a blind spot warning (BSW) system that gives audible and visual signals through the mirrors when another vehicle is detected on the blind spot areas. If the drive continues to move into that direction, further warning alerts will be activated. Meanwhile, the hill start assist (HSA) automatically holds the brakes when the driver moves from the brake pedal to the accelerator to keep the car from rolling backwards on uphill roads.

    The Nissan Intelligent Mobility also includes intelligent forward collision warning (IFCW), which generates audible and visual alerts when an abrupt slowdown occurs in front of the Almera. It also alerts the driver when it’s time to slow down.

    The Almera comes with front airbags as standard, as well as an anti-locking braking system (ABS) and electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD). It also comes with vehicle dynamic control (VDC) system that monitors driver inputs and vehicle motion using various sensors. The system adjusts brakes and engine output in particular driving conditions to help keep the car on its directed path.

    The Almera also comes with two Isofix anchoring points between the seat cushion and seatback to accommodate child car seats. To provide a secure attachment of the child restraint system, it is installed directly on the vehicle’s body.

    To keep the car safe from burglars, it is equipped with the Nissan Vehicle Immobilizer System that uses a chip in the key and a unique starting code, preventing the engine from being started by an unauthorized key. It also sends out audio alarm signals when the doors, hood, or trunk lid are opened when the system is activated.

    Nissan Philippines also offers Nissan Genuine Accessories to elevate the Almera’s style. Customers can opt to equip their Almera with a door visor, trunk spoiler, exhaust pipe finisher, back door garnish, door handle protector, door mirror cover, luggage tray, front garnish finisher, and kicking plate.

    The Almera comes in six colors: Cayenne Red, Premium Corona Orange, Pearl White, Gun Metallic, Brilliant Silver, and Galaxy Black. Pricing starts at P728,000.
