All-new 2019 Porsche Cayenne Hybrid is now faster with more power under the hood

MANILA: The German automaker has recently unmasked the all-new Cayenne E-Hybrid for 2019. This new E-hybrid model is the first gasoline-electric adaptation of the third-generation Cayenne by Porsche. The car delivers better performance and enhanced acceleration compared to the previous model Cayenne S-E Hybrid.

2019 Cayenne Hybrid comes powered by a  3.0-litre V6 turbocharged engine, enabling it to generate 340 PS of maximum power and 450 Nm of peak torque. The electric motor further enhances the performance by adding more 134 PS and 340 Nm to the engine output. The twist thus achieved in the engine performance eventually makes the vehicle capable to deliver 462 PS of power at 5250 – 6400 rpm and 700 Nm of peak torque at 1000 – 3750 rpm. No doubt it goes heavy on performance, the new-gen model unapologetically rush from 0 – 100 kmph in just five seconds before reaching a maximum speed of 253 kmph.

The hybrid vehicle by Porsche comes with a Tiptronic S automatic eight-speed transmission. All-wheel drive system helps to channelise the system output to all the four wheels equivalently. The active suspension management technology and Sports Chrono package come as standard features in the 2019 Cayenne E-Hybrid. Full air suspension comes as optional.

The electric motor derives its power from a 14.1kWh lithium-ion battery pack that is positioned under the trunk floor. The battery can be recharged using two options: a 230V 3.6 kW plug-in that recharges the battery completely in 7.8 hours and the second one is a more robust 230V 7.2 kW onboard charger that recharges in just 2.3 hours.

Porsche 2019 Cayenne Hybrid looks stylish and comes enhanced with innovative tech support as well as attractive features also. The new-gen Cayenne looks true to the standard model but flaunts its uniqueness with the Acid Green needles on the gauges and similar coloured brake calipers with matching outlines around the Porsche logo.

The E-Hybrid will have Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control, Porsche Traction Management, and Porsche Active Suspension Management features. It might feature Porsche InnoDrive system also. The Cayenne features wider 22-inch wheels, heated windshield, adaptive cruise control, massaging seats, heads-up display etc.

2019 Cayenne Hybrid Cayenne might be on sale in the upcoming year with a price tag of Php 42,00,090 (approximately).
