BMW PH brings in new X1 xDrive25e M Sport

MANILA: SMC Asia Car Distributors Corporation recently expanded its new energy lineup in the Philippines with the introduction of the new BMW X1 xDrive25e M Sport.

The newest member of the brand’s roster for the country is a sport utility vehicle that features a plug-in hybrid powertrain.

In a statement, BMW’s local distributor shared that the X1’s electrified version gives a balance of “athletic performance, versatile functionality, and local emissions-free driving”— continuing its Power of Choice strategy.

Here’s what buyers can enjoy in the new BMW X1 xDrive25e M Sport.

Its powertrain — made up of an internal combustion engine and a sole electric motor  —can deliver the following numbers:

Maximum output (in horsepower)	245
Peak torque (in Newton-meters)	477

This churn lets the vehicle jump from 0-100 kilometers per hour in 6.8 seconds.

Providing juice to the BMW X1 xDrive25e’s electric motor is a BMW X1 xDrive25e is its fourth-generation battery technology, that assures a pure-electric range of up to 101 kilometers. Given a full tank and fully-powered energy bank, the vehicle can cover up to 764 kilometers.

Further, the model — which comes in the sole M Sport variant — features clearly structured design language and sporty exterior trimming including:

• M Aerodynamics package
• High-gloss Shadowline trim
• M light alloy wheels

Meanwhile, its interior is equipped with the latest BMW Widescreen Display and iDrive Operating System 9 as well as M Alcantara/Veganza upholstery, sports seats, and a high-fidelity Harman Kardon loudspeaker system.

Making the vehicle future-proof is the list of technologies under BMW ConnectedDrive such as the integrated data SIM card that enables BMW Live Maps with real-time traffic information and route calculation — a first in the Philippines.

Available in Alpine White, Black Sapphire, Space Silver Metallic, M Portimão Blue Metallic, Cape York Green Metallic, and Fire Red Metallic, the new BMW X1 xDrive25e M Sport can be had for P3.998 million.

Relatedly, the new BMW X1 xDrive25e M Sport will have public viewing at the Power Plant Mall, Rockwell Center, Makati City on February 20-22, 2026.
