Brand-new MG 5 up for grabs in Shopee's 12.12 sale game

MANILA: An MG 5 sedan can be taken home by one Shopee user on the online shopping platform's“12.12” sale game on Sunday, December 12. 

To win a brand-new 5 Core MT, users need to watch Shopee’s 12.12 Big Christmas Sale TV Special, which will be broadcasted on GMA 7 and Shopee Live from 10:30 p.m. 12 midnight on the said date.  

With their Shopee apps open, users can start shaking their phones during the show’s Shopee Shake segment, in which doing so will earn them Shopee coins. 

At the end of the one-minute game, the user with the most coins wins the MG 5 Core MT. 

Similar to the “11.11” sale last November, this upcoming promo is made in partnership with local MG distributor The Covenant Car Company, Inc. (TCCCI) and Shopee. 

“After a successful 11.11 campaign, we at MG Philippines decided to do a repeat and extend yet another opportunity for one lucky Shopee user to win the stylish, modern, British heritage MG 5 sedan this 12.12,” MG Philippines’ Senior VP for Marketing and Communication Services Lyn M. Buena said. 

MG Philippines markets the 5 with the tagline: “Big in Features, Big in Comfort.” The subcompact sedan is touted to feature a spacious and comfortable interior, large dimensions in its segment, and up-to-date equipment.

Last year, the 5 won the Manufacturer’s Class category at the Bonifacio Eight-Hour Endurance Challenge at Clark International Speedway.
