Chery Alabang wins 5th consecutive “Dealer of the Year” title at 2025 GRIT Awards

MANILA: Chery Alabang, which is owned and managed by Frontier Automotive Marilao, Corporation (FAMC), has won its fifth consecutive “Dealer of the Year” accolade at United Asia Automotive Group Incorporated’s 2025 GRIT Awards. 

The said dealership also rounded up its top accolade by being hailed as Chery Auto Philippines’ (CAP) Top Retail Sales dealership for the National Capital Region. It was joined by Chery Marilao as the Top Retail Sales outlet for Luzon and Chery Gensan for Visayas-Mindanao. 

Likewise, the 2025 GRIT Awards highlighted the best-of-the-best dealerships in terms of Service, Parts, Customer Service Satisfaction, and Sales Satisfaction. Here’s the list of awardees for the aforementioned categories:

• Best in Service (NCR/Luzon) - Chery Alabang
• Best in Service (Visayas-Mindanao) - Chery Iloilo
• Best in parts (Visayas-Mindanao) - Chery Iloilo
• Best in Customer Service Satisfaction Index (NCR/Luzon) - Chery Alabang
• Best in Customer Service Satisfaction Index (Visayas-Mindanao) - Chery Gensan
• Best in Sales Satisfaction Index (NCR/Luzon) - Chery Alabang
• Best in Sales Satisfaction Index (Visayas-Mindanao) - Chery Iloilo
• Overall Digital Marketing Breakthrough Award - Chery Iloilo

Chery in PH: latest updates

CAP could be launching two new models for the Philippines market. These are the Tiggo 7 plug-in hybrid vehicle (PHEV) and the iCAur V23. 

As previously reported, the two were recently given a five-star safety rating by the New Car Assessment Program for Southeast Asian Countries (ASEAN NCAP). Sounds good, but documentation for the two nameplates was tagged for the Philippine market, as well as Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. 

CAP has yet to issue a statement regarding the Tiggo 7 PHEV and iCAur V23, but their presence in other Southeast Asian markets might be a sign that their arrival in the Philippine market could just be around the corner. 

Earlier in October 2025, CAP managed to top the country’s PHEV sales charts, according to the records of the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines Inc. (CAMPI). In the said month, the company sold 81 PHEV units, with a total of 501 units sold from January-October 2025.
