Dela Cruz-Andres joins Nissan PH

MANILA: Lyka Mae dela Cruz-Andres has officially joined Nissan Philippines.

In a statement the Japanese automaker’s arm in the country shared that her appointment as Senior Manager for Communications took effect last January 5.

Armed with more than 13 years of experience in automotive and mobility communications (with deep expertise in brand strategy, public relations, and marketing communications), de la Cruz-Andres joined Nissan Philippines after holding key communications roles in Honda Cars Philippines, Incorporated and BMW Philippines under SMC Asia Car Distributors Corporation.

During her stint in the aforementioned companies, she supported brand marketing initiatives, managed media relations, and led communications for new vehicle launches in the Philippine market.

Further, NPI said that throughout her career, de la Cruz-Andres led teams “in developing integrated communications programs and executing brand initiatives aimed at strengthening market presence and driving audience engagement.”

For her new role, the newly-hailed leader is expected to steer Nissan Philippines’ communications strategy, oversee brand communications, as well as media and stakeholder relations to support the company’s growth and positioning in the Philippine market.
