MANILA: After being seen first locally at the 13th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit (PEVS), the EV5 will be displayed anew at the upcoming Kia Movement this weekend.

The upcoming Kia EV5 has a range of up to 550 kilometers from a single full charge.In a statement, Kia Philippines will highlight the electric crossover at the latest leg of the event scheduled on March 13-15 at the Alabang Town Center.
“The presence of the EV5 preview at Alabang Town Center marks a bold new chapter in our push toward an electrified future, building on the premium innovation established by the EV9,” Kia Philippines Managing Director Jose Marie Lopez said.
“It reinforces our commitment to delivering stylish, purposeful, and capable electric vehicles that integrate seamlessly into the Filipino lifestyle,” he added.

Earlier, the ACMobility-led distributor announced that the Kia EV5 is set to arrive in the country within the first quarter of 2026.
While it did not disclose the pricing, the company already shared some details about the anticipated addition to its lineup.
Here are some notable details about the Kia EV5.
The soon-to-be-launched vehicle is propelled by a single motor that can deliver as much as 214 horsepower and 310 Newton-meters of torque.
It can also cover 550 kilometers, thanks to its 88.1-kilowatt-hour battery. Complementing this are the following:
- Regenerative braking
- Vehicle-to-load technology
- Kia’s DriveWise driver-assist system
Meanwhile, the Kia EV5 in abroad markets reportedly has a direct current charging, which can juice up the battery from 30-80 percent in just 30 minutes.
Also, the Kia EV5 abroad has options that come with a dual-motor setup as well as an all-wheel-drive system.
Further, the Kia EV5 overseas measures 4,615 millimeters (mm) long, 1,875 mm wide, and 1,715 mm tall.
Other notable portions for the Kia-manufactured battery-powered electric vehicle as seen in foreign markets (that we hope to have in the Philippine-spec version) include:
