Ford PH Sales Increase by 55% in H1

MANILA: Ford Philippines was able to deliver excellent sales performance in the first half 2023 due to persistent demand for its Next-Generation vehicle lineup.

Ford Philippines' retail sales in the first half of 2023 increased by 55% to 13,838 vehicles from the same period last year, with the Next-Generation Ford Ranger, Ford Territory, and Ford Everest boosting overall sales.

The Ford Ranger was the brand's best-selling vehicle in the Philippines in the first half of the year, with sales increasing by 25% year over year to 5,436 units. The Next-Generation pickup truck, hailed as the “smartest, most versatile, and most capable Ranger ever,” has been a popular pick among truck aficionados since it was launched last year.

The addition of the highly anticipated Next-Generation Ford Ranger Raptor in the lineup also contributed to stronger sales performance. Since it arrived in the Philippines in late May, Ranger Raptor sales have reached almost 600 units.

The Next-Gen Ranger Raptor, driven by the dependable and tested 2.0-liter bi-turbo diesel engine, combines an innovative suspension with an imposing look and design to show off Ford's class-defining off-road engineering.

The recently launched Next-Generation Ford Territory further contributed to the brand's impressive sales performance in the first half of the year. With sales up 22% to 4,493 units, it maintained its position as the most popular small SUV in the Philippines. Less than three months after its debut at the Manila International Auto Show 2023, the Next-Gen Territory has surpassed the 2,500-unit mark.

The Ford Territory blends outstanding performance, elegant design, quality features, and innovative technologies, making it an appealing SUV package for yuppies, new drivers, and small families.

The Ford Everest, meanwhile, has maintained its strong performance in the competitive mid-size SUV market, with sales for the first half of the year up 503% from the same period last year to 3,786 units.

With its adventure-ready performance combined with great comfort and customer-focused technology, the Next-Gen Ford Everest maintains its status as an established icon on Philippine roads and attracts an increasing number of owners.
