Here are the features that make Jaecoo 7 an exceptional off-roader 

MANILA: One of the most anticipated features of the upcoming Jaecoo 7 is its exceptional off-road capability.

The Jaecoo 7 is powered by a 1.6-liter turbocharged gasoline direct injection engine that produces up to 197 horsepower and 290 Newton-meters of torque. The engine is mated to a seven-speed wet dual clutch transmission with two-wheel- and all-wheel drive options.

These features enable the Jaecoo 7 to accelerate from a standstill to 100 kilometers per hour in eight seconds.

The Jaecoo 7 has a minimum ground clearance of 200 millimeters (mm), an approach angle of 21 degrees, a departure angle of 29 degrees, and a water wading depth of 600mm, making it perfect for off-road adventures.

In terms of design, the Jaecoo 7 features a "modern off-roading chic" aesthetic with a robust and boxy stance, matrix-style grille, and sharp LED headlights.

Aside from its off-road capabilities, the Jaecoo 7 is also packed with advanced technologies, including a 14.8-inch (in) sky screen, a 10.25in all-LCD dashboard, a flat-bottom multi-function steering wheel, and a heads-up display.

The intelligent driving assistance system works in tandem with the brand's all-road intelligent off-roading system (ARDIS) that seamlessly adapts to the Jaecoo 7's drive modes, including Urban, Desert, Mountainous, Water-Crossing, and Muddy.

The Jaecoo 7 is set to arrive in the Philippines in early 2024.
