Honda Civic lands spot on Car and Driver’s 2023 10Best Cars

MANILA: The Honda Civic lineup is included in Car and Driver's 10Best Cars for 2023. The lineup includes the all-new 2023 Honda Civic Type R, the most powerful car Honda has ever offered in the United States.

“The reason the entire Civic lineup wins 10Best is because even the most sensible models—the base Sport sedan and hatchback—are a joy to drive, with balanced chassis, refined road manners, and accurate steering. Both the Type R and the Si are offered only with a six-speed manual. These are ‘if you know, you know’ cars, but the best thing about the Civic is that its affordability across a wide range of models means more drivers can join in on the fun,” Car and Driver stated.

The Civic is a significant entry point for the Honda brand and continues to dominate the market with key customer groups like Gen Z buyers, millennials, first-time buyers, and multicultural buyers. The Honda Civic, which also won the 2022 North American Car of the Year award, offers engaging driving dynamics, elegant styling, and interiors with cutting-edge standard technology. The all-new Honda Civic Type R, the ultimate hot hatch with a suspension designed for the racetrack and 315hp, will be added to the lineup for 2023.

Aside from the Honda Civic, the 2023 Honda Accord is also included in the 10Best Cars list.

Honda now has a total of 68 awards, making it the most successful brand in Car and Driver 10Best history. Since the award's introduction in 1983, at least one Honda has managed to land a spot on the annual list.
