Hyundai Motor PH gives more H-100 to DSWD-NCR

MANILA: Following the turnover of the initial pair of units, Hyundai Motor Philippines Incorporated (HMPH) gave two more H-100 examples to the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD-NCR) Field Office.

In a statement, the Korean automaker’s local arm said that the donated units to the government arm are aimed at supporting the latter’s relief response operations — given the country’s susceptibility to natural disasters.

The ceremonial turnover — held at the DSWD Sanctuary Center, Mandaluyong City — ceremony serves as a testament to the brand’s commitment to providing mobility solutions to all Filipinos.

Present at the ceremony are executives from HMPH namely Jiho Son (president), Cecil Capacete (managing director), Hongshik Chin (chief finance officer) as well as DSWD leaders Atty. Michael Joseph Lorico (regional director), Benchie Gonzales (assistant regional director for administration), and Bienvenido Barbosa Jr., (assistant regional director for operation).

“Last year, we donated two H-100 units to support DSWD’s disaster response and management and outreach operations. And today, we continue to show our support through the additional units we will be handing over. This donation not only fortifies our partnership, but especially Hyundai Motor’s journey towards its vision, ‘Progress for Humanity’,” Son said in a special message.

“We are honored to be in partnership with DSWD who continuously aims to uplift the lives of Filipinos.”
