Jaecoo 7 Undergoes Extensive Testing in China

MANILA: The Jaecoo 7 recently began its testing in China, traveling thousands of miles from Wuhu through Turpan, Dunhuang, and Golmud to attest to the unparalleled durability of the off-road SUV.

During summer, the highest temperature in Turman reaches 51°C. The Jaecoo testing crew arrived there during the hottest period and thoroughly tested the Jaecoo 7. The test items covered a wide range of parameters, including brake heat fade under high temperature, hot start, dust under high temperature, durability under high temperature, and air conditioning cooling.

When the surface temperature rose to its limit of 75°C, the Jaecoo 7 started up smoothly and all functions operated as usual. The Jaecoo 7 was able to effortlessly adjust to the challenging road conditions in Turpan and travel over the Gobi Desert's yellow sand while maintaining a clean interior with excellent dust and sealing performance.

Furthermore, the Jaecoo 7's air conditioning system performed very well. Actual test results show that the Jaecoo 7 reduced the interior temperature of the car by 44°C in just 10 minutes. This was done in Turpan when the outside temperature was 51°C and the interior temperature was 80°C.

In the midst of the dual test of “desert+high temperature,” the Jaecoo 7 has proven its powerful off-road capability, which is inextricably associated from its all-road drive intelligent system (ARDIS), which can adapt to the road in real time and achieve outstanding performance and precise control to allow the Jaecoo 7 to conquer even the most challenging terrain.

Although the exceptional performance of the Jaecoo 7 under high temperatures was already anticipated, it still gave the Jaecoo testing crew more surprises, not only in dealing with off-road conditions but also in ensuring a stable and safe drive through technological support. The built-in Qualcomm 8155 chip provided responsive and user-friendly intelligent interaction, with a 540° transparent chassis environment recognition and intelligent detail processing, demonstrating the Jaecoo 7's innovative technology and performance.

The Qinghai-Tibet Plateau in China will be the next stop on the Jaecoo 7's ongoing 10,000-mile extreme long-range test.

The Jaecoo 7 will make its global debut in the third quarter of 2023. It will be the first model that will be offered by the Jaecoo brand once it enters the Philippine market in the fourth quarter of  the year.
