Lotus to offer bespoke services soon

MANILA: Lotus has opened a bespoke service that will offer custom commissions for its clients.

Dubbed Lotus Chapman Bespoke, the aforementioned solution will allow customers to personalize badges and trims to complete unique, one-off creations.

Per the British automotive brand, the aforementioned bespoke service was named after Lotus founders Colin and Hazel Chapman, who started the business in 1948 in London, United Kingdom.

“Together my parents shared an extraordinary adventure. Their dynamic personalities created innovative designs for the drivers to enjoy. Now the drivers can enjoy creating their own innovations with Lotus Chapman Bespoke,” commented Classic Team Lotus Director Clive Chapman.

With the new bespoke service, Lotus customers can subject their vehicles to three levels of customization: Tailor-made, Collection, and One-off.

Tailor-made — Lotus pointed out — allows a car buyer to choose his or her own unique combination from within a broad palate of colors, designs, and finish with exclusive personal touches and details.

On the other hand, Collection gives a customer access to a selection of limited-edition designs, brought to life in partnership with partners, artists, and like-minded luxury brands.

Meanwhile, One-off allows a client to build a car as unique as he or she is.

“Many of our customers are looking for a bespoke experience; be that color, texture, fabric, detail — and we are excited to see their individuality stamped on our cars around the world,” Vice President of Design at Lotus Group Ben Payne stated.

Lotus Chapman Bespoke will initially be offered in China from April 25, 2024, and will soon be rolled out around the world over the coming months.
