Mazda Philippines revealed prices of 6 and MX-5, models showcased at 2018 PIMS

MANILA: Mazda Philippines has already brought the new and refreshed models of the MX-5 and the 6 (a mid-sized sedan) a few days back. Apart from these, the company even brought a new variant to the CX-9 lineup known as the Signature, which further strengthened the Mazda Philippines lineup.

However, it is to be noted that the prices of the cars weren’t revealed at that time. But now, the company has revealed the prices of the cars and they are currently showcased at the 2018 PIMS (Philippine International Motor Show).

The 2019 Mazda 6 sedan has been priced at Php 1,930,000 for the 2.5-litre SkyActiv gasoline while the 2.2-litre diesel has a Php 2,250,000 tag. On the other hand, the manual and automatic 2.0-litre MX-5 is priced at Php 1,930,000 and Php 2,160,000 respectively. The range-topper soft-top with Nappa leather variant is priced at Php 2,240,000.

The Club Edition of the MX-5 with automatic transmission has a price tag of Php 2,680,000. In addition to these, the pricing of the latest variant, Signature Turbo-AWD CX-9, is the priciest at Php 2,950,000.

The 2019 Mazda 6 has an improved SkyActiv-D and its turbocharger which can now make 187 PS of power and 450 Nm of torque. On the other hand, the gasoline engine makes the same 187 PS of power and but lower 252 Nm of torque.

Moving further, the Mazda MX-5 soft-roof convertible makes 181 PS of power and 205 Nm of torque.
