Meet the 2019 Honda Accord Modulo editions

MANILA: Sedan lovers are in for a treat here. There is no denying to the fact that the 2019 Honda Accord is already a looker, however, a bit of flair does no harm, does it? Doing just that, Honda, the Japanese automaker has unveiled brand new Modulo packages for its 2019 Accord in Thailand. The executive sedan has been bolstered by three Modulo kits namely Aero Smart, Aero Sport, and Aero Supreme.

Starting off with the Aero Smart package, the kits brings along stylish side skirts, deeper chin, and rear bumper extensions. The Aero Sport kit features the same stuff as the Aero Smart package with an additional trunk lip spoiler. Finally, with the Aero Supreme package, the 2019 Honda Accord gets all the additions of the Aero Smart and Aero Sport kits with a mesh grill, and a rear bumper garnish being the added features.

As usual, the Modulo kits only provide the Accord with aesthetic updates and make no changes to the mechanical side of the sedan. However, we believe that there are no mechanical upgrades needed either.

The Thai-spec 2019 Honda Accord comes housing a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine and it is the same unit that powers the smaller Civic. The power figures show 192 PS of maximum power for the regular variant and 212 PS for the Hybrid version. In our country, we expect Honda Philippines to offer the non-hybrid model only.
