MG Android app to refine your aftersales experience

MANILA: The inception of the smartphone has certainly eased a lot of different tasks in our daily lives, hasn’t it? From purchasing stuff online to controlling our electrical equipment, smartphones have brought a new era of comfort and convenience altogether. How come automobile manufacturers not benefit from the new technology then?

While there are automakers like Hyundai and Kia who are developing new tech that will enable customers to lock and start their cars using their smartphones, MG Philippines has launched an Android application for its customers in the Philippines to redefine their aftersales experience.

Called “MY MG”, the application is available for Android smartphone users to download at no cost. Make sure that your device has Android 5.0 or above before you try to install the app. Talking about the features that the application brings with it, MG customers can now schedule appointments for their vehicle’s servicing at their preferred MG dealership.

The application will use the smartphone’s GPS service to find the nearest MG authorised dealership and service centre for the user. Moreover, the users can also schedule test drives, make product inquiries, and check about the availability of spare parts.

Another interesting feature in the MY MG Android app is the virtual garage. Using which, the record of his/her MG vehicles and their maintenance history can be kept by the user. The customers should also rest assured about the level of professionalism as the application is connected to the MG Philippines head office and its authorised dealer partners
