MIAS 2019: Suzuki Ertiga with a sports kit

MANILA: At the recently concluded MIAS Wired 2020, Suzuki, the Japanese automaker previewed a special Ertiga edition wearing a sports kit. The accessories this Ertiga boasted were very similar or shall we say quite identical to what we have seen in the Ertiga Sport that is available in Indonesia. Along with some cool exterior elements, the MPV also featured a unique theme on the inside.

Up front, the Ertiga had a brand new chin spoiler and a blacked-out mesh type upper and lower front grille. The headlamps also received some black treatment and as a result, equipped the car with a classic impression. Having a look at the side profile of the MPV, it now featured side-skirts. Moving to the rear, we found a new rear bumper with an integrated diffuser, scuff plate, and a tailgate-mounted spoiler.

While most the interior on the kitted-up Ertiga was similar to the regular model, an all-black interior, just like the Ertiga Black Edition, was seen instead of the standard beige theme. Everything from the dashboard, centre console, and seats to the door panels and the leather-wrapped steering wheel were given a black treatment.

The changes on the special Ertiga at 2019 MIAS were limited to the aesthetics, and the MPV’s powerhouse remains to the same 1.5-litre four-cylinder K15B motor. This mill is capable enough to generate a maximum power of 103 PS and 138 Nm of peak torque.

Customers can opt for either a five-speed manual or a four-speed automatic transmission unit. The availability of this kit is yet to be announced by Suzuki Philippines. Once up for grabs, the accessories will be available at Suzuki official dealerships across the Philippines.
