Mitsubishi Motors PH makes Xforce more accessible with GLX introduction

MANILA: Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) has expanded the Xforce lineup with the introduction of the GLX variant.

First previewed at the 10th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS), the newest offering—served as the model’s base trim—boosts its “commitment to providing Filipinos with stylish, practical, and reliable mobility solutions.”

Aside from that, the firm is aimed at making its core strengths accessible to more customers without compromising the design, comfort and driving confidence that define the model, which enables the Japanese automaker’s local arm to tap a wider market.

The updating of the lineup also came with updates on the features of the two existing variations namely the GLS and GT.

"The Xforce has been well received by Filipino customers for its eye-catching design and elevated comfort. With the introduction of the new GLX variant and updating the other variants, we are enhancing the lineup to give more customers the opportunity to experience the Xforce and find the variant that best fits their lifestyle and needs," MMPC President and Chief Executive Officer Ritsu Imaeda said.

Here’s what you need to know about the refreshed Mitsubishi Xforce in the country.  

GLX CVT

Offered with the most affordable price tag among the three options under the Mitsubishi Xforce lineup locally, the GLX can be had for P1.119 million.

Among its notable features are:

• 17-inch alloy wheels
• Reverse Camera
• Six-speaker system
• Spacious interior

These features make it practical yet stylish.

Additional features

Meanwhile, the Mitsubishi Xforce GLS and GT trims have received key updates that further elevate comfort, convenience, and everyday confidence.

The spruced-up GLS CVT version now has:

• Leather seats with Heat Guard
• Cruise Control
• Multi-Around Monitor
• Rear cross traffic alert
• Blind sport warning

The Mitsubishi Xforce GLS is being retailed for P1.299 million.

Moreover, the Mitsubishi Xforce GT boasts panoramic sunroof, eight-speaker Dynamic Sound Yamaha sound system, two-tone synthetic leather seats, power tailgate with hands-free function, and 18-inch alloy wheels.

Additionally, the model is equipped with:

• Forward Collision Mitigation
• Leading Car Departure Notification
• Auto High Beam
• Tire Pressure Monitoring System
• Adaptive Cruise Control

The vehicle is offered for P1.661 million.

All the abovementioned variants are powered by an in-line four double overhead cam, naturally-aspirated,1.5-liter gasoline-fed engine with Mitsubishi Innovative Valve timing Electronic Control) technology with continuously variable transmission.
