MANILA: Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation is set to display two new vehicles at the upcoming Philippines International Motor Show (PIMS) 2026.

Piquing public interest online, the photo showed silhouettes of two sport utility vehicles that, upon closer inspection, resembled the new-generation Mitsubishi Outlander Plug-in Hybrid Vehicle (PHEV) and XForce Hybrid already available in markets abroad.
However, in a statement, the firm noted that it will only unveil an all-new electrified model. MMPC claimed that the development highlights the marque’s “continued commitment to innovation and sustainable mobility solutions for the Philippine market.”

All-new Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV
In the United States, the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV is powered by a 2.4-liter engine with MIVEC (Mitsubishi Innovative Valve timing Electronic Control system), dual electric motors and a 22.7 kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery—allowing the vehicle to cover an emissions-free range of roughly 72 kilometers.
It also boasts regenerative braking, Super All-Wheel-Drive Control system, and a drive mode selector that lets you switch between the following:

- EV
- Save
- Charge

Display theme
The theme for MMPC’s booth display will be “Premium Adventure,” which comes from the “Forever Adventure” theme Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) used in the Japan Mobility Show 2025.
The company shared that its participation and usage of the said theme to the 10th PIMS “reflect the brand’s commitment to empowering customers to embrace every journey with confidence, excitement and unwavering spirit of exploration.”
“The booth experience is designed to capture Mitsubishi Motors’ adventurous DNA while showcasing how the brand continues to evolve for the future of mobility,” MMPC explained.
Beyond the vehicle displays, MMPC also prepared daily interactive programs, engaging activities, and special performances from well-known performers and influencers for people of all ages to enjoy throughout the event.
