Nissan teases all-new Navara

MANILA: Nissan has released a teaser for the upcoming all-new Navara.

Based on a video posted by Nissan Australia on its official Youtube page, the pick-up truck — which carries the tagline “Defy Ordinary” — will have its world premiere on November 19.

Per the Japanese arm in the Land Down Under, the Navara story, which started four decades ago, revolved around “hard work, resilience, and ingenuity.”

But now a new era begins. Purpose-built for our harshest terrains and toughest jobs, the all-new Nissan Navara carries the legacy forward while delivering the strength and capability you can count on,” the company shared.

Nissan Navara in PH

The current locally available version of the Nissan Navara comes with a price ranging from P1.24 million-P2.22 million across nine variants. 

The Philippine-spec model's top-spec trim is the Nissan Navara Pro-4X 4x4, and it is propelled by a 2.5-liter inline-4 turbodiesel engine capable of producing up to 187 horsepower and 450 Newton-meters (Nm) of torque. Power is sent to all four of its wheels via a seven-speed automatic transmission.

The exterior of the top-spec Nissan Navara comes fitted with full LED lighting, a set of 17-inch wheels, power-folding side mirrors, roof rails, black overfenders, rain-sensing wipers, and a tailgate assist feature. 

Inside, the model provides its occupants with leather upholstery and a dual-zone automatic air-conditioning system. The Nissan-made pickup truck's driver also has access to the following:

• Leather steering wheel
• Push-to-start button
• Auto-dimming rearview mirror
• Power-adjust driver's seat
• Seven-inch digital gauge cluster

Other amenities found inside the Nissan Navara Pro-4X include a nine-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, the Nissan Intelligent Mobility advanced driver assist system suite, USB ports, 12-volt accessory outlets, and a six-piece speaker set - among others.
