Porsche Panamera GTS 2018 unveiled

MANILA: Midst the shower of new models, Porsche has brought out two more exciting offerings for the power focused drivers out there. Sitting between the Porsche Panamera's S and the Turbo versions in the lineup, there is a Sport Turismo version revealed as well.

The new GTS models get 460 PS of max power and 620 Nm of peak torque from their 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine. With the top speeds of 292 kmph (Sedan) and 289 kmph (Sport Turismo) and the ability to reach 0-100 kmph in just 4.1 seconds, there certainly is no shortage of thrills that the new models can provide.

Other mechanical changes in the new models include a 10mm lower adaptive air suspension, some chassis mods, and larger brake rotors (390 mm up front and 365 mm at the rear). Sending power to all the four wheels is an 8-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic transmission. And just when we thought that’s all, there is also an option to add a rear-wheel-steering that further enhances the exciting driving experience.

Along with the new head-up display, the new models get a mixture of black Alcantara and anodised aluminum in the cabin. And with the Sport Design package being standard which also includes a heated multi-function steering wheel with gearshift paddles, the GTS badge brings a new and an improved look to the cars. The Interior GTS package which is available as an option, allows the customers to get customised cabin elements like rev counter, logos, and stitching.

With the new models all set to go on sale later this year, the Panamera GTS and the Panamera Sport Turismo are priced at £105,963 (Php 7.5 million) and £108,110 (Php 7.6 million) respectively.
