KEY TAKEAWAYS
How much horsepower and torque can the 2026 Porsche 911 Turbo S produce?
The 2026 Porsche 911 Turbo S can produce up to 701 horsepower and 800 Newton-meters of torque. What is the powertrain of the 2026 Porsche 911 Turbo S?
The 2026 Porsche 911 Turbo S uses a 3.6-liter twin-turbo boxer engine paired with T-Hybrid technology. The latest range-topping version of the iconic sports car nameplate uses a twin-turbo 3.6-liter boxer engine combined with the German marque’s “T-Hybrid technology.” The result is a maximum output of 701 horsepower (hp) and 800 Newton-meters (Nm) of torque, which can chalk up to a zero to 100 kilometer per hour (kph) time of just 2.4 seconds.
Per Porsche, its zero to 100 kph time is 0.2 seconds faster than the previous version. Moreover, the brand shared that the new model is around 14 seconds faster in the Nürburgring compared to its predecessor.
Interestingly, the Stuttgart-based brand’s T-Hybrid is not new. In fact, it first appeared in the 911 Carrera GTS. However, Porsche did apply further improvements to the said system. The new model’s combustion component also received an additional electric exhaust gas turbocharger. Otherwise, it still uses the same 1.9-kilowatt-hour (kWh) high-voltage battery, eight-speed PDK transmission, electric motors, and all-wheel-drive system as the 911 Carrera GTS.
