MANILA: For some, cars have very sentimental value. While some don’t let go of their vintage ride because of the memories, others like the classic look. Given that most people would prefer the newest generation model of their preferred vehicle, a vintage car would truly stand out in the crowd.

Renoca by Flex is a Japanese company based in Tokyo that allows you to customize Toyota vehicles to have that authentic retro feel and look. They customize any previous generation of Toyota Hiace vans, Land Cruisers, and Prado to look like it came straight out from the ’80s.

Their website even comes with a simulator so you can customize as much or as little as possible your vehicle of choice, and for you to have a visual of how your car would look. What is more, they allow customization even if it’s not in the options. Before they retro build your vehicle, you can have a consultation so you can even equip your car outside the available trims.

You may also view available car inventories in their showroom for some inspiration. Most of which are second-hand or preloved cars that have been refreshed with the highest level of maintenance, so customers are assured that they do not break down as easily. If you want, you can even complete the 80’s nostalgia with decals,

two-tone paint, vinyl tops, and chrome trims. What is more, they do deliver outside the country, but you have to arrange it with them. But you have to be patient. Since it will be a complete build-to-order production, expect about 2 to 3 months waiting time, not including delivery. All purchases also come with a one to two years warranty.
